Landscape Sculpture & Design

The use of stone, whether in wall-building or letter cutting, connects us to an older way of life, to an ancient way of seeing. It connects us to a time when we understood our place in the world perhaps better than we do now. Drystone walls are walls built in the Old World style, without mortar, interlocked in a way that lets gravity do all the work. These granite fieldstone or limestone walls – a beautiful alternative to cast-brick construction -- can be used to retain soil, or as more ornamental structures that help define a space.
